Review highlights
Based on 153 reviews7 Village @ Simpang Ampat 七廊面家 is widely recognized for its consistent and flavorful noodle dishes, particularly the dry Lamien, which remains a favorite among patrons. Customers frequently praise the friendly and attentive service, noting the helpful and energetic staff. The restaurant's reasonable pricing and comfortable air-conditioned environment contribute positively to the overall dining experience. However, several reviews mention the recurring issue of houseflies, which can detract from the ambiance, especially during warmer days. Additionally, the seating arrangements are better suited for smaller groups, which may pose challenges for larger parties. Despite these minor drawbacks, 7 Village maintains a strong reputation for quality local comfort food and reliable service.
Food and service have definitely improved since i came here a few years back. Houseflies are still a bit of a problem for them but still acceptable. Ladies just be careful where you sit
My all time comfort food! The service is always top notch, staffs are very friendly, food is reasonably priced despite it's in a proper shop lot with airconditioning. Food taste has been very consistent. Highly recommended to visit.
Same great taste and experience as what you would have expected from 7 Village. My personal favourite Dry Lamien and Kwan Jiang were both as great as ever. Just a few minor quirks I noticed at this particular outlet. There seems to be a lot of houseflies and it can be annoying at times. The tables available are catered more for a group of 2 or 4 pax so if you come in a larger group, I guess you need to wait and try to combine or merge the tables (if they allow?). Otherwise everything is good. Food is good. It is air-conditioned and very relaxing and comfortable to dine here. Oh yeah, one more thing I noticed which his really special here. If you happen to park outside their store, looks like they have a sunshade to cover your car windscreen as well! How cool is that.
Is sunny day the worker help to put on sunshade on my car, so kind. Food is ok
Typical 7village shop with maintain all local young and energetic frontliner service very well done. Food are good standard among all branches. The shop will dissapoint you with their noodle soup. My favourite is their dry lamee always the best taste for me.
Often come here for lunch. Restaurant has an air-conditioned section and an outdoor section. Ordering is via QR code on table top, staff could help ordering too if you're unfamiliar with phone ordering. Short waiting time after ordering. Koay teow th'ng is good (tastes better than Island Glades branch's in my opinion although recipe should be the same). Signature ramen soup is good (love the egg!). Food quality is consistent. Waiters are friendly and helpful (staff Elaine even remembers what condiments regular customers need!). The restaurant is also kids-friendly, baby chairs are available.
